April 3 Egg Painting Egg Painting with Marlane Adams, Sponsored by the Eminence Area Arts Council. April 3 Chamber Easter Egg Hunt The Chamber's annual Easter Egg Hunt is at the Shannon County Court House. Eggs are donated by area businesses and are filled with candy and prizes. Egg hunts are divided into age groups and prizes are awarded for most eggs found. April 11 - 17 Easter Trail Ride Easter trail riding event by Coldwater Ranch. July 3 4th of July Picnic Join us for a 4th of July picnic at the Eminence City Park complete with music and good food. Fun for the whole family! July 3 4th Annual - Chamber of Commerce Rubber Ducky Race This will be our 4th Annual Rubber Ducky Race in Eminence on the Jacks Fork River. First Rubber Ducky to get down the river to the finish line, wins! There is a cash prize for 1st place. July 10 4th Annual Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament Eminence Chamber of Commerce golf tournament at the Roy L. Beck Municipal Golf Course. 3-person scramble. December 4 Christmas in Eminence Celebration & Lighted Parade Annual Christmas in Eminence Celebration and Parade at 6:00 p.m. on Main Street, Eminence. Prizes awarded to best float in each category and best band. Visit the courthouse and have your picture taken with Santa Claus! December 18 Christmas Concert A music concert sponsored by the Eminence Area Arts Council. December 18 Christmas Lighting Contest Annual judging of the Christmas light displays on area homes, businesses and organizations. Prizes awarded to best light display in each category.
